This cd contains some of the songs that Survivor is best known for which is why I bought it. If you like Survivor, then I would recommend thid cd.

I love this cd!! it makes me feel in the past, in my childhood; I hearded "EYE OF THE TIGER" (from Rocky II soudtrack) when I was 8th years old, and I was enchanted with this song; my second favourite is "THE SEARCH IS OVER", and I like "THE MOMENT OF THRUTH"(from Karate Kid's soudtrack), "I CAN'T HOLD BACK", "BURNING HEART" (from Rocky IV soundtrack), "REBEL SON" and "HIGH ON YOU"; this is an excellent cd, I reccomend it because all of their best material is here and these are (VERY IMPORTANT) the ORIGINAL VERSIONS. BUY IT!!!!

I never get tired of listening to the Survivor CD. It always perks me up and gets me dancing through the day. With this CD I am a Survivor of daily Life.

i have always liked the power and delivery of survivors music from burning heart to eye of the tiger and anthms like high on you..i have listened to alll the musical cuts i had never heard before and i must state for the record i was very blown away by this collection...as will any musical fan of survivor and its unique power by singer and the band itself...

If you don't wanna buy any of Survivor's studio albums and just want the hits. This is a great buy. Of course it's got the overplayed and overrated "Eye Of The Tiger", which I CANNOT stand. But it's also got Survivor's other hits like:

I Can't Hold Back
High On You
The Search Is Over
Is This Love
American Heartbeat

and others, plus some nice surprises, such as:

Ever Since The World Began
Rebel Son
and Didn't Know It Was Love

Definately a must own!

Even though I'm not a huge Survivor fan, the person I got this for as a gift freaked out over it. Said it had almost all of thier favorites, also had songs they'd long forgotten, and even a few they didn't even remember at all but still loved. There was one song they were surprised it didn't include, but overall they said they absolutely loved it. I did some research before buying, and it definitely seems like the best Survivor CD out there.

This is a great compilation with great audio of Survivor's greatest songs. I have no problem with the quality of the songs and I listen to it almost everyday. They also listed a very long and detail information in the booklet. If you like Survivor I recommend getting this for your collection.

Survivor is such an awesome band that can really epitomize the rock anthem. This CD is a must for any serious listener.

Eye of the Tiger.......Burning Heart......Moment of Truth. That's 2 Rocky movies and the ORIGINAL Karate Kid. DUDE!!! What more is there to say?!?!?! 5 stars only because that's the most Amazon will let me give. Buy this CD and come back to the 80's!

If you want to buy only ONE album with ALL of your favorite Survivor songs - THIS Is the Album you WANT! It has everything great from Survivor - I love all of the tracks.
