4.0 out of 5 stars excellent
this is my first tae bo video, and it's great because it is montage-style (using a mix of segments from past workouts), so the settings change and so do the people. that makes it less boring and non-stop. also, as it concentrates on the lower body and requires you to do some fast moves--machine gun kicks, double-time back kicks--that make the time fly by, which i...

This is the same video as the TAE BO II advanced - I was very unhappy to put this in and find out I already have it - They just renamed it and put a new cover on the video! Now I have to pay to return it -

this is my first tae bo video, and it's great because it is montage-style (using a mix of segments from past workouts), so the settings change and so do the people. that makes it less boring and non-stop. also, as it concentrates on the lower body and requires you to do some fast moves--machine gun kicks, double-time back kicks--that make the time fly by, which i appreciate.
i consider myself an intermediate-to-advanced exerciser. i stopped doing pilates 3-4 times a week and switched to kickboxing because it combines cardio and toning, but being an advanced exerciser is far from being an advanced kickboxer.
anyway the workout is about 40 minutes long, and that was enough for me. i was dripping with sweat by the end. so i recommend this one. it is a challenge and i like having the goal to master it.
oh, i should also mention that there is not much instruction in terms of safety. it is assumed that you already know that going in. so keep your stomach firm and your hands up!

5.0 out of 5 stars Tae Bo Ultimate Lower Body, January 23, 2003

This is a great workout, this video is a complilation of all the great workouts put into one 40 minute workout. For several years now I have been taking my favorite videos and putting them together this way,so now I no longer need to stop my workout to pop in another tape, and now Billy made it easy for me. This is a great workout and you are always busy, never a minute to get bored. Not that any of the Tae Bo workouts are boring. I highly recommend and would love to see more workouts like this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome, April 2, 2004

I really liked this workout. Even after doing it 5 days a week for a few weeks I still get my heartrate up and I still sweat. The video really does what it says I have noticed a whole lot of improvement in my lower body and my abs too. I am still not bored with it because it changes up so often the time just seems to fly by. I am not a fitness type of person and if you just give it time you can do the moves just as fast as the people in the video. The first couple of times i felt like i was falling all over the place but now it is so easy to get in a great workout that absolutely works.

I was very unhappy when I put this video on thinking I was getting an ultimate lower body workout to find it was the same video I have already just a new package and different name - Now I have to pay to ship it back - Costing me more money because I already have the video! Maybe next time they will creata NEW video rather than repackaging it!
