The cookbook is full of wonderful basic recipes for all types of dishes. It also includes several nice delicacies for entertaining, special dinners, etc. I have grown up in the South and find this is a great guide to keep me in touch with my roots and the great meals we shared. The book is well written and wonderfully illustrated with pencil sketched country scenes. Many recipes are personalized with comments from the provider that give it great personality without taking away from its main objective; Great Food. My hats off to the editors and all of the contributors!!

Figured,All BBQ.No.A plethora of really Down~Home foods to prepare.A rarity Because Tennessee is a place visited for 12 years in a Row.We were not inundated by BBQ then or Now.A gracefull Abundance of Recipes.So many Sides to prepare and Breakfast Ideas. We seem to run out of the "What are we going to have different Today"? This answers and We reply with a welcomed, generous Thank You.Not any recipe Is what You would expect~better.Much Thought and Time in this Cookery book.A refreshing Change than the Southern Areas of the East Coast.No we do not cover everything in Butter/Gravy/artery clogging ingredients. This Should Be a standby as We All Learn from Each other. How we live,cook,bake, prepare and a day to day glimpse into Tennessee.Enjoyable.
