5.0 out of 5 stars Just Plain Fun, November 21, 2001

For a guy who can't really sing, Eddie Tudor-Pole sure can write a catchy tune! I first heard these guys when I bought the Stiff Records Box Set (another 5-star compilation) and fell in love with "3 Bells In A Row" and "Throwing My Baby Out With the Bathwater". If you're familiar with either of these tunes, this comp is just that times 10. It's drunken, punky, singalong British rock at its finest. You'll have every tune memorized by the end of the first listen. I'm listening to it now, and wearing an ear-to-ear grin. If you are a fan of The Damned, The Rumour or any of that ilk, buy this!

Outstanding Album - Gets Campy after awhile, But all songs have an Upbeat Tempo making it a Great Party Album for reliving those Good old days of Yesteryear. Put it on, Drink some Beer and Enjoy, This CD was made for Keg parties.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pirate pop-punk, September 5, 2007

It never really caught on, but when I was young this was all over MTV. Every song is an anthem. Light hearted punky pop on a pirate trip. Should be re-released properly to cash-in on the pirate trend that is happening in punk.
My girl likes "Love and Food" best, I go for 'Swords of a Thousand Men".

5.0 out of 5 stars Great pub rock!, May 9, 2010

As the title says-- great pub rock. The only problem with this music is that it makes me want to be down at the pub hoisting a tankard of ale whilst singing along. Problematic for a Tuesday morning when you're meant to be headed to the office.
