This is the third "The Best In Tent Camping" book that I have purchased. It was very informative and helpful in planning our recent family camping trip to The Smokies. Not only are the campgrounds well described but the book even suggests specific tent sites. We have been very happy with the recommendations and detailed nature of the "Best" series of tent camping books. Well Done!

I own about ten of the Best in Tent Camping series, and most of them are written by Johnny Molloy. These guides are essential in winnowing down the long list of camping opportunities available. We have based several trips on campsite reviews in this series, and we have never been disappointed.

I purchased this for a family camping outing to GSMNP. It led us to an excellent campground that is off the beaten path - Cosby Campground. It's full of details to help you choose the campground you want. I highly recommend the book if you are planing a camping trip to GSMNP or the surrounding areas and are not already familiar w/ the campgrounds.
