4.0 out of 5 stars Overview of Tevins 4 albums, May 23, 2004
The only people who are gonna be disappointed by this set are Tevins hardcore fans who are always gonna cry about some obscure album track favorite of theirs that wasn't included. This is a real nice overview of Tevins 4 album career, and a good item to own if your generally into your modern R&B.

Tevin throughout showed a lot of skills & promise, and here we find him hooking up with major players like Quincy Jones, Prince, and Babyface. However for me Tevin was at his best in 1999 with his 4th (and probably final) album 'Tevin Campbell', a mature set from a grown man finally free to record serious material. However this album isn't covered as much, I'd recommend that album as a cool companion to this collection of earlier work. Tevin has disappeared from view since he got busted like George Michael by an undercover cop, but I hope this kid makes it back, this is 2004 we got to be adults & love everybody.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Strong Set but missing a few key tracks, February 9, 2001
Where is his first hit "Tomorrow (A Better You)", and other early hits "Just Ask Me To" and "Strawberry Letter # 56". A hit set without those key tracks just ain't complete honey chile!

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the brightest and most talented R&B has to offer..., January 31, 2001
Ever since I first heard Tevin's vocals on Quincy Jones' Tomorrow, I knew in my heart that this performer was only showing us a preview of what was to come. From the beautifully arranged vocals and music on "I'm Ready" to the vocal dexterity displayed on some of the tracks that were produced by Prince, Tevin continues to shine and prove that he is a force in the world of popular R&B music. If you are a fan of the music stylings of Babyface and a lover of good ol' fashioned R&B, this is the compilation album for you. Long live Tevin!
