I wouldn't necessarily have picked these songs as Monk's best. However they are all great songs. Don't get a greatest hits album if you are at all interested in possibly exploring Monk further. Go get Brilliant Corners or any other "famous" Monk album. There are no bad songs on all of his top ten or so albums so you won't go wrong.
