This type of music puts you in a nightime mood wheather you are at the bar with friends, or by yourself, it has a pretty melody,
always thinking of the opposite sex when I hear this music,perfect for romance.

Best known for his #1 R&B hit "Love Won't Let Me Wait", Major Harris was a talented soul ballad singer worthy of more recognition. His subsequent albums were all quite good but (strangely) he would never again score a big hit single. Virtually all of his R&B hit singles are included here (as well as some LP-only tracks). If you like 1970s Philly soul, add this CD to your library.

When I listened to "LOVE WON'T LET ME WAIT" for first time, in thirty years,I still got goose bumps, and visions of the "Blue light" parties, It was a "Very", Very, romantic song to slow drag to. " Major Harris" Thank You for the good times. "El Cuchillo"

A former sometimes back up singer to Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers and a former member of The Delfonics "(Didn't I) Blow Your Mind This Time" Major Harris would have his biggest hit of course with "Love Won't Let me Wait" .Most of the songs on this album are worth a listen, and you may discover some old favourites..and new ones as well.

i really liked this disc.the music is right on time.his voice is very soulful.Love won't let me wait is a timeless classic.
