This tortilla press is cheap for a reason-the first time I used it, I ended up pulling the dough out and rolling it by hand, it does not make the dough flat enough to cook out a thin tortilla. Also, the handle is poor quality rubbing across the top (AND CHIPPING!) The first time, I had to push the press down with my hand in order to even use the handle and then, as mentioned above it was completely insufficient. I would definitely pass on this model!
