Dance Songs Not Really Trance or Techno or House,
By "musictrancelover" (Miami, FL) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Best of Trance 2 (Audio CD)
This album was ok. It is mainly the stuff you hear on the radio. I don't think it was terrible to like throw a fit or be upset you bought it. I like some of the songs a lot because they do have that dance beat. Other than that there's not much bass and drums or trance beats. It's really plain music to dance to, not off the wall funk! I still like it. It isn't my top choice but it compliments my other dance collections. If you like the mixes you hear on the radio this CD might do it for you.

Great dance tracks,

I love this CD. Say what you want about compilations, but this album collects some of the best club dance tracks that were popular in 2000-2001, in their original format. I'm especially impressed that the whole album does not sound the same, which is the problem I find with lots of dance CDs. I was really happy to find all these songs in one place without being all mixed into a mess.

The people who did this CD did a very mediocre job. Other than the songs "Suncheme," "Castles in the Sky," and "Better off Alone" most of the songs were just okay. There were also a few bad songs on this CD as well. If you like the songs on the CD, then buy it, but I advise you not to rush.

Three or four tracks on this CD are my favs ... the rest are either pretty ok or so-so ... I suggest buying this used, though. The best tracks are "It Feels So Good", "Cant Keep Me Silent" and "Airwave".

I couldn't get into this cd at all. I thought volume one was pretty good, but the only song I liked on this one was "nightmare" by brainbug. I plan to give this one another chance, but it didn't make a good first impression.

This is NOT trance. This is a compilation of absolute are cheese....commercial garbage you hear on the radio... there is nothing deep, dark, progressive, epic, or hard about it....this CD is for the cargo khaki, dave matthews band, keg party college kid types who refer to all electronic dance music as "techno".....for the NEWBIES.....

Ok, this Cd had my favorite trance song in all of history, which is Kiss(when the sun don't shine) by the Venga boys. This song is Very unplifting and 9 minutes long too. There were also a lot of other good songs too, like Let u Go. I highly recommend this Cd if you like uplifting trance, with some hard trance too.

This is an "OK" album,

From other "TRANCE" cd's that I have listened to, I would say that this does not really constitute as being trance music. I would like to say that it is a good cd, just not what the title would cause most music listeners to believe the music actually is...or something like that...it's your choice...

This Is NOT The Best Of Trance,
By A Customer
This review is from: Best of Trance 2 (Audio CD)
I was given this CD as a present, thank goodness, I wouldn't spend my own money on this. None of these songs would be included in the trance genre. After I listened to this CD, I thought it would have been more appropriate to title it Club Songs from 1999. They are all great songs, they are just not trance. Buy this CD if you would like to relive your Saturday nights out dancing 3 years ago, not if you are looking for a good trance CD.
