INCREDIBLE ALBUM !!! Tuck is probably one of the best (the best ???) jazz guitarist in the business !!!
the version of "time after time" is 100 000 times better than the original one (it's even hard to compare).
The tributes to JIMI HENDRIX "castles made of sand/little wing" is one of the best song I've ever heard.
And "Europa" played by Tuck will make you put your Santana CD in the garbage !!!

If you like accoustical music, Tuck and Patti is a combination which is magical. The "Best of" is for those who want to trial the magic of this duo. If listening to this does not make you buy the other albums, I'd be surprised. This music is innovative and skillfull. It is commercial enough to please mainstream listeners and technical to impress us jazz maniacs. Her voise and his guitar combine with a marriage which probably reflects their own relationship. Keep it up the both of you, I wish you came to London more often.

Tuck and Patti are one of the best duos every to record music together. Tuck's fluid jazz guitar coupled with Patti's smooth, melodious voice is truly something special.

Their version of Cindy Lauper's "Time after Time" is beautiful and "Take My Breath Away" does just that every time I hear it.

If you've never heard of T&P or have only heard one or two of their songs, pick up this CD ... it's well worth it.

This is my first Tuck and Patti cd and I am amazed that they have remained virtually out of sight for so long. The guitar is sophisticated and the vocals are just so smooth. The Jimi Hendrix tribute is a refreshing take on the much covered Little Wing and Takes My Breath Away...well simply does just that. This CD is so good that I am tempted to keep it my little secret!

The music is soothing, rhythmic and sophisticated. I just can't get enough of it. My favorite tracks are Better Than Anything and Europa (indeed it is better than Santana's). This album has truly blown my mind and taken my breath away ... get it.

Tuck & Patti offer versions of songs that are simple, clean, pure, and inspiring. I previously enjoyed "As Time Goes By," but after listening to this version, I have a new favorite rendition. "Time After Time" also is a clean, crisp alternative. "Takes My Breath Away" leaves you hanging on each note as it is played simply, cleanly, and warmly.

If you've not come across this duo before, it's time you spread your wings! Who could have imagined that the simplicity of a guitar+vocal duo could capture such a phenomenal range of dynamics and emotional responses? You will melt when you hear 'Take My Breath Away' and, as other reviewers have said, 'Time After Time' (the Cyndi Lauper version, not the old jazz standard) is streets ahead of the original. Stunning guitar work and soulful singing. Buy this - you have no excuse!

Tuck and Patti are muscians with depth and diversity. They combine acoustic guitar and voice in a variety of styles from jazz to gospel to rock. Their remake of the Jimmy Hendrix's Castles made of Sand rivals the original!

Patti's voice and phrasing literally takes my breath away. This is a hugely talented duo; musical energy presented with a gentle touch.
