This cd I bought on a whim. And must I say it did not disappoint. And her new song "Make Me" is an instant classic.

The New Song "Make Me" which was released only in less than 4 months after the King of Pop "Michael Jackson" died.
During that time, instead of mourning, Janet changed the Record Company (again),' Recorded New Song, shoot the PV. The project was going on during Michael's funeral. Did she have time to mourn for Michael? or just thought it IS the best timing for her "Come Back"? after a serial failure of "Damita Jo" and "Dicipline" (oh and 20yo or something i can't even recall)? "Make Me" Video clearly shows that it was made in a very limited time. The choreography is NOT as Articulated, United and New or Good as they were in her past materials. The song itself is also a very much predictable dance music which is still STUCK in the 90's. |
