Nice selection of holiday soul songs, January 7, 2010

I listened to this CD over the holidays while traveling on a Greyhound bus. It was nice, with a couple of songs I had never heard before. Like Cold December Nights, You Were There and My Gift to You. Nice to hear some of the standards from Nat, Lena, the O'Jays and the Whispers. The Tempts singing their extended version of Silent Night is the perfect final song. Very nicely done, mixing new stuff with old school. Get this CD if you want to put some soul in your holidays.
