The Corrs are one of the best bands ever,

I have both of these albums and if you are a new Corrs fan or they are one of your old time favorites, both the best of and Unplugged are worth getting a hold of. I love the fact that almost all of their bests are on this "hits so far" album. I wish they had put a few different songs on it from their first two albums, but it is a pretty good mix. This album is grand if you don't have the other ones. It doesn't really offer a whole lot of new music other then "Would You be Happier" Unplugged is one of my favorite releases by the band. It has a lot of their old time favorites, but done in an unpluddged mannor of course! I love the track "No Frontiers" cause it features Sharon and Caroline...who in addition to Andrea have wonderful voices. This album is a lot quieter and low key then their studio releases, but just as fun and upbeat.

Being an American Corrs fan I just happened to run into the best of the Corrs at a Best Buy store. since I had most of the songs except a few (the unplugged songs and a couple not on any albums)
being that it was an Australian release and a bit pricy I passed. Then i found this 2 for one price collection on CDnow. I of course bought it on the spot. I didn't even know anything about the unplugged CD. What an amazing treat it was. I have seen them on DVD and know how much better i think they sound with out all the sheen and production of their albums (though I obviously don't mind it since I listen to all of them and love them) But a cover song of an old Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy fame) song? Being a total Thin Lizzy fan my opinion of the Corrs went through the proverbial ceiling. And then there is the Rem song "Everybody Hurts" When this song finally hit me I must have listened to it about 20 times in a row. And of course hearing Sharon and Caroline sing lead is also incredible. Oh then of course is the Best of the Corrs CD. Nice collection, But compared to the Unplugged CD, well what can I say. And two for the basically the price of one. This is a steal. And I have no guilt about stealing this at all.

This cd set includes the Corrs Unplugged & the Best of the Corrs. A must for any Corrs fan!!! 2-cds at a 1-cd price!!
Both cds are excellent, showcasing all of their greatest hits & more! Unplugged made me feel like I was back at their concert, which was outstanding. Some of the versions are slightly different than on other albums. What's great is both albums have a great mix of old & new Corrs songs. I think the Corrs version of "Dreams" is better than Fleetwood Mac!! I love these cds!
