This CD -- which includes Vivaldi's Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter ensembles -- is an authentic recreation of Vivaldi's work. The St. Petersberg orchestra resisted the temptation to improvise and played the music as it was printed on the sheet -- and play it well they did. The beautiful lilting cadence that results will have Vivaldi lovers yelling Bravo!

i have always been drawn to classical music. it is so beautiful, and it's pure art. to listen to vivaldi in unexplicable. i am total in pure aw when i listen to it. i really do sugest purchasing his cd. it is well worth it.
