4.0 out of 5 stars Dopey Kirtan
The music is soothing, relaxing and melodious. The singer has obviously learnt some classical indian music and it shows especially Jai Ma and Opium are deliciously mellow and make you want to drift away. But if you are looking for kirtan on the lines of Jai Uttal or Krishna Das you may be disappointed. None of the songs are brisk or invigorating, and hard core kirtan buffs...

The singer has obviously learnt some classical indian music and it shows especially Jai Ma and Opium are deliciously mellow and make you want to drift away. But if you are looking for kirtan on the lines of Jai Uttal or Krishna Das you may be disappointed. None of the songs are brisk or invigorating, and hard core kirtan buffs might even find the singer's pronounciation of sanskrit to be dopey/half swallowing syllables and words. Definitely a good addition to your collection of relaxing music.

I play this cd when I do massage work. It's gentle, beautiful, and powerful at the same time. Wah! is amazing. See her in concert whenever possible.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice, but no sitar, March 8, 2007
This review is from: Best of Wah (Audio CD)
Despite the WAH!nderful CD Cover, the CD itself is really quite nice but it misses that bit of excellence that I like to find in music. Sort of easy listening, mantra's for beginners. Suits a night of reading as well as having tea with mom, without her being annoyed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must-have for your relaxing/inspiring CD collection, January 1, 2009

The Best of Wah is in constant rotation, along with Donna DeLory and Girish. Bolo Ram and Hare Krishna are mesmerizing. I wake up to it, work to it, and play it before retiring each night.

For those in San Diego, check out her occasional kirtans!

I absolutely love this CD. I play it all the time at work while giving massages. Everyone seems to love it. My yoga instructor also plays it during class. Must have.

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW !, February 10, 2011
This review is from: Best of Wah (Audio CD)
I was receiving chair massage the other day ... and the music the young lady was playing was so lovely. After the massage, I told her I too was an LMT and that normally I do NOT use music during my sessions with words in it. I stated that I thoroughly enjoyed what she was playing ... words and all ! She informed me it was the 'Best of Wah.' My plan is to purchase this CD to use also. It's WAH-alicious!

5.0 out of 5 stars AWESOME!!!, May 13, 2009
This review is from: Best of Wah (Audio CD)
Wah has a wonderful voice. The music is addictive. This woman can't go wrong. If you're thinking of using this music in a yoga class/spa, all I can say is - go for it! You won't regret this purchase.
