after hearing Daughter of Mine by John McDermott on a local raido station I knew that was the song I wanted to dance with my father. I search all over the internet to find that song and came across this album... I took a chance in purchasing it and I love it. It has every type of wedding ballads and all different song types/styles. Infact a song I never heard of was on this album and I selected it to dance with my beloved and our first dance song. Buy this album.... you wont regret it.

What to say about a self-boasting album titled with the world's best oxymoron.... ever. Hmmm... well, if wedding songs are your thing (certainly the equivalent of admitting you harbour a secret passion for reading eulogy's at the funerals of strangers), then this big cakey, billowing, tuxed-up and flowery collection of mostly Disney-grade romantic pop is sure to please. You name it, it's here: from the glamorous to the amorous to the heinous. Okay, top marks for a replay of Pachelbel: Canon and lush orchestrations of wedding marches from Wagner's Lohengrin and Mendelssohn's Midsummer Night's Dream. It's hard to beat the classics. And sure, begrudging nods for John McDermott's Daughter of Mine, the Righteous Brothers' Unchained Melody, Nat King Cole's Unforgettable, Buddy Holly's True Love Ways, Spandau Ballet's True and Jennifer Rush's The Power of Love. But surely you'd rather choke on the bride's garter than ever have to listen to tankers of emasculated drivel by the likes of Sheriff, Luba, Prism, Frozen Ghost, Selena, Richard Marx, Anne Murray, Alias, Foreigner and Altantic Starr. Do you take this weak-kneed, wide-eyed thematic cheesefest to be your awful wedded album? I don't.
