I own about 4 Riders in the Sky cd's and this is by far the best one. It is a great mix of fast, catchy traditional cowboy songs, and of slower ballads like "cool water." This is great music to sing along with, especially during a road trip.

If you like true western music then this is an album you need to get. It has the true "Western" music and is about the cowboy.Hey if you don't believe me, buy it and listen to some of the finest western music you will ever hear.Eddie Asberry

No one is better than Riders in Sky when it comes to cowboy music. This collection is full of standards, but has a few songs I hadn't heard before.
