I live in the Grand Junction area and this book does not describe "western" colorado hikes at all. The area covered is from Vail to Glenwood Springs to Leadville and Aspen. This is most certainly not "western colorado" but rather Central Colorado. The nearest hike to me is over 2 hours away. Not a distance I want to do for a fun day-hike.Don't be fooled as I was. This book covers central Colorado, not "western" by any means. |
