Best of Whitesnake [Import],
By
This review is from: Best of (Audio CD)
I bought this CD because of the sound quality. David Coverdale and EMI is a winning combo. I own just about everything there is Whitesnake. I even go to church with Tommy Aldridge. I saw Whitesnake perform 6/2005 in Hollywood. Coverdale isn't you're run of the mill old comeback rock star who can barely sing. NO he still has the most awesome voice in Rock and stage presence to boot. He looks great. The chicks still go crazy over'em. If your not sure about which best of Whitesnake CD to get? This be the one cause it sounds so good. 24k gold music. I can't wait to buy and see the new Still of the Night DVD. T.R.

This cd is great, you get your old favorites like "Love ain't no stranger" but then they leave out "Slide it in" and "Slow and Easy" which suprised me. Still, very worth listening to.

Finally a CD that covers all years of the Whitesnake catalog instead of just the "Slide It In" through "Slip Of The Tongue" eras of the band. The most enjoyable part for me is the addition of the 1983 video version of "Guilty Of Love" for the first time which so far is only available here (except the deleted VHS video). This CD is the best Whitesnake compilation since 1983's "Best Of" set which is now extremely hard to find...
