If you have never heard of Witness, you don't know what you are missing. This album encompasses some of the best songs by this female group to date. "Standard" is my all-time favorite from Witness. Michael Brooks is the guy who produced them. He penned most of the songs including "Magnify", which is not on this album but it is on Byron Cage's album (Track #2). Michael Brooks used to write and produce for Commissioned up until the "State of Mind" album. Many of the songs that Commissioned performed on their reunion album were penned by Michael Brooks. Lisa Page-Brooks is the most influential voice on all the Witness' albums. She did most of the leads and did some of her best work during this time. The rest of the group is strong as well. They got started close to around the same time as Commissioned even doing some work with them (Will You Be Ready album). If you like female groups like Virtue and Out of Eden, you'll really enjoy this group. I think they have a new album coming out pretty soon, but you can buy this and enjoy some of their past hits. "Get In The Way" and "Safety" are also highlights of this album.

I find this collection of Witnesses work simply annointed. It's message is powerful and this CD has the ability of giving one the strength to stand in the storm. Thanks so much for keeping the Gospel real.

This album has all of my faves from this supergroup, a quartet of Detroit born gospel songstresses. Each song will take you to a special place. BUY IT NOW!! Then, buy Standard, at least and you will truly appreciate this, gospel artists at their best!! I surely hope this BEST OF album doesn't mean the end for these women!

I think the CD is okay. It wasn't totally what I expected. I was looking for more material from Standard. But I loved Witness' sound growing up. Great job Michael Brooks. Hope there's a reunion project soon.

The group Witness is one of the best. I love there style, and the songs are so annointed it hits the heart and the soul i just love them and i hope that they will continue song for the glory of god.Please never stop sing for you are really a blessing.
