Of all the 'Best Womens' series, this is my favorite. The Best Womens Erotica 2009 (EasyRead Comfort Edition) is good, in fact every book in the series is excellent, but this one still remains my most loved. I have to admit that I haven't read them in chronological order but who cares. My husband bought this one for me because he liked the picture on the cover and its one of the few he has read all the way through. He calls it his sex manual and he likes living out the stories in the book, which is ok by me as we have had some sizzling sessions. Also enjoyed Breaking the Girl by Kim Curum and also Elizabeth Chamberlain's Absolute Erotica: The Definitive Collection which is the other book he has read all the way through. And again bought because of the girl on the cover having an orgasm.

Update (January 20, 2008): One of the stories in the book, "The Lonely Onanista," was just shortlisted for the prestigious 2007 "Rauxa Prize for Erotic Writing." If I didn't already own "Best Women's Erotica 2008" that might be incentive enough to purchase it!

Original review: To answer the reviewer before me, the other reviews here (and the "search inside" offerings) all refer to last year's edition of this series: "Best Women's Erotica 2007." The recent release is called "Best Women's Erotica 2008." I received my copy from Amazon yesterday and am THOROUGHLY enjoying it! (This page needs to be updated is all).

I'm not sure where these other 10 reviews listed below have come from considering this book just hit the market this week (11/1/2007) and the publisher did not do any freebie give aways on this beforehand (I called and asked), so I ask what book are they talking about because it isn't this one. (Especially those reviews from early this year?) All I can say is judge the book for yourself. The cover is great and sexy and the writers here have done other stories in other collections I have liked. Like most things tastes in erotica are subjective so keep an open mind and give it a whirl, you might just have a good time.

A brilliant compilation of some of the best erotic stories around. They are nice bite size pieces to get you in the mood for red hot passion. And if you've got a man handy, let the fire within blaze away. And if you haven't, just let your imagination run wild and free. A truly erotic potion, a must have book. Also look out for the equally hot 100 Percent Erotica its better than viagra my husband says.

I really enjoy reading this book. It helps to know what women feel and want from time to time. If you like to read erotica stories. Get the book and thank me later...

Great read! Very provocative stories, and intelligently written. For those who like a little smart with their smut.

I loved it and my husband loved it. This and Suzie Van Aartman's 100 Percent Erotica must be the best collection of erotic short stories ever put together. If you loved 2007 you will love this. My husband loves me to read the stories to him, which I try to do with the ultimate tease and it never fails to turn him on, and after he never fails to please me. So yes its great, we can't get enough of this genre, and we await the 2009 edition with our tongues hanging out.

i was disapointed with these stories, i felt they lacked in writting skills, the front cover was well done, but on a whole i give these 2 stars
