The radio station that I listen to every Sunday while getting ready for Church plays several of Ms. Adams songs regularly so I have been a fan for a while. However, I wasn't moved to buy one of her CDs until I heard (and saw) her sing "Still I Rise" on the NAACP Image Awards. That did it - I am a fan for life! I immediately went out and bought this CD. I got the last one in stock, so I guess I'm not the only one who was moved by her performance. I listen to this CD while on my way to work and on my way from work. It reminds me of the many blessings that have been bestowed on me and keeps my focus on something other than worldly wants and desires. Yolanda, keep doing what you are doing - you are doing a wonderful job of ministering to your brothers and sisters in Christ.

Yolanda Adams is truly one of Gospel music gems. Every project just sparkles! She has an excellent catalog of music that most artist dream of. Each song selected is a hit all on it's on. From Through the Storm to Just A Prayer Away to The Battle Is the Lord's to What About the Children to Is Your All on the Altar and Still I Rise. This cd will certainly brighten your day, encourage your soul and push you to go on a little bit further. She also jams a tad bit too with The Only Way, Gotta Have Love and Only Believe. So don't think that ballads are Mrs. Adams only area of power, she can riff through a jam like no one else can. So sit back and get ready to enjoy the explosive, dynamic, exciting, powerful and God chosen Yolanda Adams!

Although, I don't personally have this CD, for an exceptional experience with the Lord and Yolanda Adams I recommend this CD. It represents a little of everything she has done. The only reason I don't have this CD is because I have purchased EVERY CD & Tape that she has done. Therefore, I have every song on this CD on all of the various releases she has done. She is an extraordinary artist, endowed with the Holy Spirit. She has been blessed as soon you will be if you purchased this CD.

The best of Yolanda is such a blessing to me. When I first heard the CD, it touched my soul. Yolanda ministers to the soul. I can listen to Yolanda all day and night. She has really helped me get a prayer through in my time of need. I also feel that Yolanda doesn't care about the big crowds but who she is serving. She will probably sing to five people and still minister to as if she was in a big arena. I meet Yolanda when she recorded Live in Washington and I was so happy to know that she is so down to earth. I would be honored to meet her one more time to let her know how she has ministered to my family and I. Yolanda plese let the Lord continue using you.

Yolanda really touches my heart with every song that she sings. God has anointed her voice so that she can be a blessing to his people and THAT she continues to do with every album she makes.

I own all of Yolanda's CDs, so the songs on this album wasn't a surprise, but it was worth buying it, because her producers put all of her most popular songs on it.

I hope one day that she will do another live taping like she did with the "Live in Washington" CD, because it just brings out her talent even more and shows us how well she can sing without the slicing and dicing that the recording studio does to produce her albums.

Yolanda is one of a kind and she is doing what God has ordained her to do, which is to sing praises to God.

Yolanda - keep up the great work that you're doing for the Lord. Don't mix with the world, but keep going strong for God and he will see that you continue to get the spiritual, physical and financial blesings that you so deserve. Love ya.

THIS CD IS A MUST HAVE IF YOU LOVE YOLANDA ADAMS. I LOVE HER. HER VOICE IS AWESOME. THESE SONGS ARE JUST GREAT. THIS HAS ALL OF HER GREAT MUSIC THAT SHE SINGS. I NEVER HEARD OF SOME THEM AND LET ME TELL YOU THEY ARE JUST AWESOME. THIS CD IS AWESOME. YOLANDA ADAMS DID A GREAT JOB ON SOME SONGS THERE WERE SOME SONGS THAT WAS WEEK BUT OTHER THAN THAT SHE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. I LOVE THIS CD

This CD is very good. It has a nice mix of her older hits. You will enjoy this cd. I recommend this Best of collection for those who have just begun to listen to Yolanda's music. You will see that she has always been a great talent from the beginning of her career. You will also be very blessed by this collection of songs. ENJOY...

I first heard of Yolanda while in Panama City Florida she was singing "The Battle is the Lord". When I got back to NY I went out and purchase the cd. I listen to gospel music all the times and I like Yolanda...only when she sings slow. Still I Rise is fantastic.

... this is not her best album. Im a big fan of Yolanda, I have all her albums, but this one is by far not as good as other albums like "Mountain High... Valley Low", "Believe" or her 1995 live recording. These other albums are truly phenomenal, but this one... mmmm I dont like it that much. Overall, it has a sad felling, I think there are problems with the mixing of this album, also.

If you want to buy her music for the very first time, try another album, but dont miss this wonderful lady, there is NO ONE like her, she is awesome!!

This CD was so inspiring and uplifting. Her voice is heavenly and the words will keep you encouraged. I got chills up and down my arms and legs as I listened to her CD and I just know that God's presence was there with me. These songs definitely came from her heart because they assuredly reached my heart.
