5.0 out of 5 stars My girlfriend loves it...
I got this for my girlfriend a few years ago and she loves it. She wanted it mainly for Bust a Move, but she listens to and enjoys the whole thing. It put a huge smile on her face.

3.0 out of 5 stars Do not buy this cd!
Do not buy this cd! Buy "Stone Cold Rhymin'" which is Young MC's other cd. They call this his "Greatest Hits" but the truth is, ALL of the songs on this disc are on ONE of his albums (Stone Cold Rhymin') go look for yourself! It doesn't make any sense at all! This Greatest Hits cd only has 10 tracks. Stone Cold Rhymin which originally came out in 1989,...

Stone Cold Rhymin which originally came out in 1989, has ALL 10 of the tracks on here, plus another three. AND it's the ORIGINAL album with the ORIGINAL track order and artwork etc. I love Young MC. The man can TRULY rhyme. The only reason I gave this a rating of 3 and not 5, is to prevent anyone from buying it because Stone Cold Rhymin' is a MUCH better buy.

All 10 of the songs come from Stone Cold Rhymin', and the CD doesn't even take the best 10 songs from the album. This CD is an absolute waste of money. Get Stone Cold Rhymin' instead.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Start-Up for Hip-Hop, June 10, 2000

The music contained on this CD has a high quality of what hip-hop really is. The beat and rhythm of Yound MC's lyrics are exceptional. This is the perfect example of what hip-hop was started to be. It's only a shame that Young MC didn't keep the beats flowing. The lyrics and catchy and keep themselves echoing through your head without all of the profanity found in a lot of today's music.

Young MC is one of the greatest Rappers of all time, and one of the most educated rappers of all time. Young MC wen't to college at USC in Los Angeles, California. Young MC in his rap songz he uses some lyrics that are just amazing, he rhymes like no other has ever done, and he makes nice catchy beats. "Bust A Move" is his biggest hit ever, and his best song ever. In the song "Bust A move" Young MC makes a song that might be one of the greatest Hip-Hop songz of all time. He was also one of the first Black Man to ever be on the top of the charts, also Tone Loc. "my Name is young" is another one of Youngs greatest songs where he talks about who he is, and why his rap name is Young MC and that is cause his last name is Young and he also says that when he started he was Young (10 yrs Old) so they called him Young MC. "Principals Office" is one of his greatest songs ever Maybe his 2nd best. "I Come off" and "Non Stop" are some really nice flows and got nice rhymes and beats. Its ashame that Young MC couldnt make more cd'z and more hits cause if he did i think he would still be around for today. I sugesst if ya dont got this cd youz gotta get it cause your missin out on some of the best rap ever and his name is YOUNG MC.
