Customer Reviews

It's a very nice looking desk and appears to be very sturdy.

While it is very heavy and assembly intensive, (it took my brother and I about 2 hours to put it together), it is definitely worth it.
Mike
The box itself protects the desk very well and could have withstood a lot more abuse.

I spent about 5 1/2 hours putting this desk together. This arrived on a pallet and is very heavy. The deliver guy will not put this desk in your home. They can put it in a garage or by your front door.

At first glance this can seem like an overwhelming project once you get the box open and sort out the parts. It's manageable to do for one person but the instructions recommend two. This is time consuming. Not ever part was labeled clearly so keep that in mind when your looking for part #73.

The desk is stunning when its completed. Its sturdy and of very good quality. I find it very ergonomic and I would highly suggest this to someone who is at their desk for extended hours.

The price of this desk goes up and down very frequently. Try to buy on a low day to make up for the shipping cost.

I purchased this desk a few weeks ago for my room. As a college student, I was looking for something large where I can place my computer, books, and still have some space. This desk manages to to give me all of that.

PROS
-Quality. The quality of this desk, I find it to be impressive. Not only that, this desk is quite sturdy and can even hold up a person who weighs about 150 pounds. I sat on it, it didn't break.
-Size. This desk is large. Just look at the pictures to get an idea how big this desk is. For the price, this desk is a steal.
-Color. From the picture, the gray top kind of looks odd... however, it's actually nice. The black/gray scheme is great.

CONS
-Assembly. For the most part, I assembled this desk on my own. It took me about seven hours to complete. I'm sure it could have taken me less, but I wasn't it a hurry and I had to clean the parts as they were a bit dusty. I highly recommend you assemble this desk with another person since the top is quite heavy and you will need some help putting everything in place. Furthermore, the package that contained this desk weighted at 175 pounds.

I'm not sure what else to add to this, other than be prepared to put some work putting this together. Otherwise, I love this desk and I would recommend it to everyone.

For the price, this desk is amazing. It was relatively easy to assemble, though it took me about three hours to complete. It's surprisingly sturdy and can even hold my 200lb-weight kneeling on it. The cabinet is nice to store your CPU without it being visible (back of cabinet has option to leave open to allow air circulation).

The desk arrived pretty quickly (6 days-Canada to Florida).
It was in a single box that weighed about 170 lbs.
The biggest challenge were the instructions, they were mostly exploded views with arrows pointing to where parts went.
It took me 5 hours to assemble, the instructions said to have two people putting it together. I was alone is probably why it took that long.
Make sure you're away from the walls when working on it, the last steps is to get behind the desk from the bottom and secure it, and then you really need two people to move it closer to wall.
When it's assembled it looks great. It takes up quite a bit of wall space, but very functional.
All and all, I'm very satisfied with the desk.

Ok first off I am not sure if the instructions and labeling has improved, but I assembled this desk in 1 and a half hours, and that includes a few errors that had to be undone.

Now my review, when it arrived the box was a little dinged up but, not too badly. The box itself protects the desk very well and could have withstood a lot more abuse. The desk is mostly assmbled by the twist and lock peg style assembly (it does have some regular screws), which made me nervous but actually speedied up assembly time and I honestly don't think regular screws could do much better. As I mentioned assembly was a little instensive and would have gone more smoothly if i paid close attention as to which way the finished sides were facing. As a suggetion for installing the brackets that connect the desktop together, only install the screws loosely so you can make sure you get it lined up with the piece next to it and the predrilled holes, this is where i spent way too much time tightening and un-tightening these screws. Other than that just pay attention and assembly is easy.

Once I assembled it, I tested it by sitting on it, at first with my feet on the ground, then picked my feet up and it held my 220lb body fine. The monitor stand holds my dual 24" monitors with a little room to spare. The keyboard tray was described as small by other reviewers, but it fits my logitech g510 (which is much wider than most keyboards) and still has room for my mouse to move around, occasionally it gets cramped, but I rarely notice it. It has adjustable screws on the feet so it can be easily adjusted to make up for an unlevel floor. Also as others mentioned on just about every site I have seen the back is unfinished so it should be put in a corner just like it is described as a "corner desk".

This desk is about six feet long from each edge to the corner/middle, so it does take up some serious wall space. It's a very nice looking desk and appears to be very sturdy. Assembly was challenging, but I'm fortunate to have friends who put it together for me after my boyfriend threw his hands up in the air when he unpacked it and the pieces didn't appear to match. In fact, a few pieces were marked incorrectly, which did cause some confusion for my two friends who put it together. It took them about three to three and a half hours to get it assembled. However, once assembled, the desk is very nice. Due to it's size, the only way I'd be able to move it to a different location would be to unassemble it. I think it will be where it's at for a long time. I definitely do think it will hold up well.
