Broken shipment three times. Customer Service Managers at BeStar are useless and would rather get you off the phone instead of help you. However! FurnitureBuzz is an excellent selling resource and very helpful. The actual desk itself is pretty nice for particle board and laminate... you get what you pay for there. After three weeks of useless dealing with BeStar, the desk is assembled and I am satisfied.

I really love the desk itself. It's got a lot of room uptop and plenty of places to stick those odds and ends everyone seems to acumulate on their desk.

However, my experience with the Seller and Manufacturer was not a walk in the park. I ordered 2 desks on 07/05/07 and finally received them on 08/03/07. FurnitureBuzz never bothered to contact me to advise that the items had been backordered twice. When I did contact the Seller (FurnitureBuzz), one of their reps told me that the manufacturer (Bestar) doesn't put any kind of priority on Amazon orders, which is why my order kept getting put on the back burner!! When the desks arrived, the packaging was shoddy and half-hearted at best and really about to fall apart, so some of the desk edges (mainly on the long top part) were banged up and worn looking. Bestar's fault for the packaging, but didn't want to wait another month for replacements....

If you're willing to run the risk of dealing with these two companies, then I'm sure you'll enjoy the desk once it manages to arrive.

If your worried about leg room worry no more. I'm an inch under 6" and I fit comfortably under it with my rolling chair on max height. The pull out drawer is a little small, but that's probably because I'm using high end game equipment on it. G15 keyboard (has 2 side key pads) & the exact razor mouse pad with the Logitech MX518 mouse. That being said it will hold a keyboard & a mouse. The desk is perfect for cord control, and the shelves on the side are tall enough to hold college books. I keep the top left side of it clear for a book stand that I use when doing programing homework. It's hard to tell from their photo, but each side technicaly has 3 shelvs. 2 enclosed & 1 empty peice on the top that you can stuff cords through or store stuff on.

Assembly was a brease. There were a few minor scratches, but hey shipping was FREE! I don't know how they manage to give you free shipping on an item of this size & weight but they did (I work in shipping). Everything went into place easy, messed up the pullout keyboard and had to re-do it once, but no biggie. Instructions are provided & are fairly clear (I'm good at assembling stuff).

All in All I'm glad I bought this desk. It suits my needs, & fits well in my room.

Bought this a few weeks ago on Amazon from Bestar. Came the day after I ordered it, WOW. Takes two people to put it together but we were able to finish it in about an hour and was not hard at all. The desk looks great and is very sturdy, there is a lip on the back so you can put a bracket on there if you have a multiple monitor mount. I have six monitors (22in and 24in) on this and it is still holding strong. Highly recommended desk!

Title says it all. Desk was shipped within a few days of placing the order, arrived in perfect condition (thanks FedEx) was easy to assemble, (hammer, phillips & flat-heads required), and has a very sturdy construction and quality build. My computer is alot bigger than the one shown, but it was still able to slide in place perfectly. My only complaint is the box weighs alot and is kind of awkward to move by yourself. Directions were easy to follow, parts fit into place tighly, holes lined up just right, and overall is a very nice desk. Definitely recommend.
