Bestever Baby Mat, Pink Cat

I received one of these as a baby shower gift and it sat in the closet while I wondered what I was going to do with a giant, almost 3-foot-long fuzzy monkey mat. Now that my baby is 14 weeks old, I can't imagine what I'd have done without it!! I actually bought a second one so I could put one in the wash and hang it dry, or have one upstairs and one downstairs.

The mat is great for tummy time and playtime in general. My son naps on it during the day and sleeps on it at night. From the earliest days of his life, he's been soothed by the soft fur (which stays soft if you follow washing instructions and drip dry), and he now likes to grab the arms and legs and tail, which makes him laugh. He rolled over for the first time on the monkey mat and he coos at the monkey. He'll sleep and nap absolutely anywhere (we've taken him on several trips, including a transatlantic flight), mostly because we bring the monkey.

I know it sounds strange but this is honestly one of the three things I could have lived without during the first three months of being a new mom. Versatile product, comforting and enjoyable for baby, easy to fold up or roll and stuff in a suitcase (though too large for a diaper bag). I love this thing!

I got this just before Christmas when my daughter was just a month old. It is so soft and so cute. It didn't take her long to fall asleep when she would lay down on it. She is now 8 months old, and while she doesn't stay in one place for very long she still loves it. She used to take her naps on it, now she plays with her toys while sitting on it. We bring it when we go out of town, we use it in the car to give her a soft surface to stretch out on and change her diaper during breaks from the car seat. We put it in her pack in play for her to have extra padding to sit on while playing. It will be great when she gets older too, she can use it to lounge on when watching tv or playing games. We have already gotten so much use out of it. Did I mention its soft! It still is soft, after lots of spit up, after several washings, it is holding up great, still looks brand new. We are going to continue to get a lot of use out of this. When we have another child we will get a second one. I recommend this product to anyone and everyone with kids and babies.

Up Date: My daughter is now 2 years old, this product is holding up great, after multiple washings and washings it still feels soft and is still gets a lot of use. It sets in front of my daughters doll house, so she is constantly sitting on it to play, she uses it as a when she is looking at books on the floor and she even puts her dolls down for naps on it. It is one of the best baby products, my daughter still uses it and its durable, worth the price. Get this product!

I have purchased five of these mates now, one for my son and four others for shower gifts. Everyone loves them. So soft, easy to bring anywhere and you can just throw it in the washing machine. Purchase recommended!

This lamb mat is great!! It is super soft, fuzzy and cute. My daughter loves laying on it. It seems to be very well made, plus it is washable. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to spoil their little one.

this cushion is a very cute design, nice colors and seems like good quality so far. one complaint of mine is that the back is described as a non slip material. it's more or less just a coarse fabric material which slips on our hardwood floors. there doesn't seem to be much grip at all. so i think the description is a little misleading. also besides the head and arms/feet, the amount of cushioning in the body is minimal. so if you try and lay down hard on it you would surely feel the floor underneath. but our daughter likes to snuggle her face on this cushion all the time because it's very soft.

so it's great for the softness and cuteness factor but as far as cushioning, it's really not a cushion. it would be great if the same amount of cushioning found in the head and arms/feet were the same for the body. had i seen this in the store and felt the body, i might not have bought it. i give it 3 stars for the somewhat inaccurate product description.

This product is not very thick. On the picture it looks very plush and thick, but in reality, the edges and the head are thick, and the middle is kind of too thin. It is still very soft and cuddly. It is not very large, the baby must be very small, under 4 months of age to fit the length of the pad. A bit over-priced to my opinion.

Our baby loves this mat. It is soft to lay on, and he likes the fuzz on his face. One added bonus with the Zebra is the black and white designs keep babies entertained, since that is what they see for the first little bit. It also makes floor and tummy time easier! Overall, an awesome product to get for you baby.

This was a Christmas gift from my aunt for our eight and a half month old daughter. It wasn't something I ever thought of buying or thought I needed, but now that I have it I can't live without it! Although our daughter is sitting up, she still flops back or to the side at times; I was propping pillows next to her on the floor during playtime, but it is a pain to always drag the pillows to the play area and you can't just throw them in the washing machine when you are done.

This mat is the perfect answer! We love it! It is SUPER soft and the size is perfect. You can throw it in the washing machine (cold water, gentle cycle) which is ideal for spit up/drooling babies. The kitty one is so cute and perfect for our daughter since we have a cat that she adores. I saw the others and they look really sweet as well.

The only negative: it seems to shed slightly (our daughter does love to pull on the fur though).

I will consider giving this for baby showers in the future! I uploaded a picture :)

We registered for this item and we were thrilled when one of our friends purchased it for us. The frog is super-cute and very soft. However, it sheds horribly and the fibers are everywhere, including some I found in my baby's mouth! I'm returning it because I'm worried that it's a choking hazard. Wish it had worked out for us.

I love this mat for an infant. It is so soft and sweet. It is perfect for my little one when he is laying on his back or for tummy time. There is not a lot to it. Baby may outgrow it fast since there is not a lot of bells and whistles. I like the fact that it is not loud and overwhelming with colors and/or toys.
