5.0 out of 5 stars "WANTED: Inquisitive Young Explorers!", June 21, 2010
This review is from: The Hidden Bestiary of Marvelous, Mysterious, and (Maybe Even) Magical Creatures (Hardcover)
The opportunity of a lifetime is here! The journal of renowned explorer Basil Bernard Barnswhitten (a.k.a., B.B.B.) is open to the public. This timeless masterpiece needs other great minds - just like yours.

The Journal's History
Presuming research on hidden beasts would be simple, B.B.B. visited the Finchhaven Museum of Extraordinary Curiosities, Oddities, & Improbabilities. However, magnitude of such proportions requires not only a sharp mind, but also painstaking labor. Little did Barnswhitten (or you) know; a spectacular adventure was waiting...

At Finchhaven Barnswhitten soon encountered horror. Shattered glass covered the museum floor. A display case had been broken, and the enclosed beast of mystery was missing. Nonetheless, terror only lasts moments for someone with the extent of B.B.B.'s intrepidity. Devising new research methodology within seconds, Basil Bernard Barnswhitten quickly took action and set out to travel the globe.

Please lend your genius to this daring quest:

1. Read each entry on a different marvelous, and maybe even magical, beast. (Immortalized in fine poetic hand.)

2. Carefully inspect the clues.

3. Ponder the same, now legendary, questions of indescribable brilliance.
- Is it alive?
- Is it extinct?
- Did it ever exist?

"What B.B.B. discovered may shock and surprise even the most experienced of explorers. But the truth must now be told." These extraordinary beasts must not be hidden any longer!!
