One of the best bands producing this kind of electronic synth pop with a definite stamp of Germany and sad strings accompanying their serious lyrics.

SITD (Shadows in the Dark) is a German band that been around since 1996. They specialize in EBM (Electronic Body Music - look it up in Wikipedia.) This album has four really incredible tunes: Herbsterwachen, Stammheim, Kreuzgang V.2 and Floating. If for nothing else, get this album for these four songs. FIVE STARS! John Karavitis

I like this band. They sound like a combo of industrial and futurepop music. SITD stands for Shadows In The Dark. This is good music, but this is not the best album to date.
