I bought this book recently and read the whole thing. It seems that the first reviewer "Art" is reviewing the wrong book, or else he has some axe to grind. The book has nothing to do with betting against the favorite ... actually it says the exact opposite. I have not researched the outcomes from the book yet but plan on doing so.

Just wanted to set the record straight, and am glad I took the second reviewer's word for things when I placed my order.

I've used it and while it's a slow ride - it worked pretty well for me. Best if you have an online account as you need to wait til the last minute to bet.

I have no idea what the other reviewer is talking about. Nowhere in the book does it tell you to bet against the favorite. The entire premise is to make a profit betting the chalk. Which is why I'm leaving this review - amazing how anyone could come away with the idea it tells you to bet against the chalk - that's an out and out fabrication or total misunderstanding.

Also, I use it in Northern California where chalk rules. I've not had many long waits before I hit my winner for the day. If you use this make sure you use it where chalk wins a lot. I'd stay away from Saratoga and tracks that have short meets. And the end of meets when longshots you can never pick win like crazy. Hope this helps!

This book tells one to bet against favorites winning if favorites have won six or seven races in a row. That's it.
