This review is from: Beth Loves Bob: The Songs of Bob Dylan (Audio CD)
Hearing Dylan's songs from a female perspective and voice is rather refreshing I think.

This review is from: Beth Loves Bob: The Songs of Bob Dylan (Audio CD)
As an avid Dylan fan, I'm always looking for great cover albums of his work to see how others rework and reinterpret his music. This album, recorded by folk veteran Beth Scalet, is virtually unlistenable. Scalet brings little in the way of interpretation, and her off-key voice waxes and wanes in strength throughout. This is like having to sit and listen to your elderly aunt perform all her favorite Dylan tunes while time stands still. Not recommended.
