Just a warning to those wanting to buy this, do NOT get the LIMITED EDITION of the game. I made a mistake and thought the limited edition meant that it was packed with extras not found in the regular cd edition. I was wrong. It's actually a demo of the game. No idea why they called it the "limited" edition. Basically by floor 15, the game is over with a message to tell you to buy the full version to unlock the rest of the game.

I bought another copy of the game with the full game on it so I was able to play the rest of the game.

I load this up on dosbox and I found the best way to load the game is to copy your cd onto your harddrive, then install it. Mount the folder with the cd content as a cdrom drive and you get a much faster game. Otherwise, the game pauses as the cd has to spin in some circumstances especially during the cinematic.

Terminator Rampage is unlike many game of that era. I recall there was Wolfenstein 3d, Blake Stone, and Doom during the time frame this game came out. The biggest problem with Rampage in my opinion is control. The controls are jerky and unresponsive. It is literally impossible to play this with a keyboard. I have to use a mouse and even then it is very hard to navigate because you can't sidestep easily or even go in reverse easily. You can't customize the controls and you're stuck with with whatever they give.

Another weird fact is that the hitbox and detection in the game are way off from other games. This makes the game really difficult without much reason because to hit a target, you have to be directly in front of it. If a target is around the corner, if you directly aim at it, it won't be damaged. With a jerky and slow control, it makes the early part of the game really difficult.
