Measuring 7-1/2 inches in diameter, the light sphere has a 144-inch lead, and it's available in a wide variety of lighting colors. GKI/Bethlehem Lighting excels in making quality holiday lights with long-lasting brilliance. Each lamp shines with rich color and remarkable intensity for more than 3000 hours, or for three years from the date of purchase, whichever comes first. GKI/Bethlehem Lighting uses 200mA lamps to ensure the greatest possible brightness. The patented external lamp lock prevents loose connections, which is the most common reason for light set failure. Locked in their sockets, lamps will not come loose. Twist-proof lamps provide added security and eliminate misaligned wire contacts. Safety certified, the lights are UL listed for indoor and outdoor use. Starlight spheres are also available in a Mini 50-light model, and a Mega 150-light model.

This is pretty but half of it turns off then back on and I can't find out why. Can't find a loose bulb or anything. It would have been nice if it had an inline on/off switch too....

I ordered 3 of these star sphere ornaments. They are a replacement for some that my elderly parents had hanging in their picture window for over 3 years. The only problem with the item is that after long term continuous use, areas of the sphere go dark and it is impossible to find out which bulb has burned out to replace.

The cost of the spheres here was significantly less for the same item elsewhere.

I have two of these, that I suspend from my front porch. They are beautiful, and I have never had any problems with them not working. This is my second year with them.
