4.0 out of 5 stars Exiting Talented Original, October 26, 2001
By

This review is from: Betrayal! (Audio CD)
The Lapse, for me, are one of those bands that keep me smiling whilst slouched in the bath tub, croon contentedly whilst cooking, play pencil drums whilst at my desk. For anyone smart enough to catch their live performance will know, the world of intelligent quirky poprock is still apparent thanks to Chris Leo and co., and its refreshing to recognise that fact. Think Pixies crossed with David Byrne, mix in a little originality with a sprig of adrenalin and buy this offkey gem.
