A great book for those beginning / or thinking to grow palms in a colder climate. Easier and better than scanning the internet for ideas. A good referance to a great many palms. A Christmas pressy that won't be up on E-bay later.

5.0 out of 5 stars Betrock's Cold Hardy Palms, October 6, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Betrock's Cold Hardy Palms (Hardcover)
Betrock's Cold Hardy Palms is a wonderful guide for choosing cold hardy palms in your landscape. This book has alot of information on each species covered, and plenty of large photographs of the leaves, fruit, flowers and the trees themselves. This book and David Franko's book, Palms won't grow here and other Myths are very imformative.
