HI!
I am an enormous fan of Bette Davis and I don't think anything new is revealed here. Having read multiple bios on her plus her own books and interviews I think as much as could ever be expected about her, good or bad has been covered. I feel that books like this , including her daughter's reveal only private moments where nobody is at their best. Also, it seems theses are written to make some bucks and stroke these insecure egos. After all they struck when Bette was ill or dead. Pretty safe if you ask me. Rita could have done a lot better as well. Phil |
