Great Roots Album, July 29, 2010
I found these guys on some streaming internet radio site. They are very technically proficient musicians. Good use of the old Hammond organ sound that I love so much. DEEP and groovy bass lines, which I also love. Production quality of the album is very good, which is surprising since they're basically a local SoCal band. I skip one or two songs but most are very good and some are excellent. Singer (also the bass player) has an amazing voice. Every once in a while, a cheesy keyboard sound effect finds its way into a song, but they use real horns and make good use of secondary percussion instruments. Check them out if you're into roots reggae and don't mind a little funk mixed in. I wish they would tour to Florida!
