My wife still uses her old BH&G cookbook which was given to us as a wedding gift in 1964. There are cetain favorites in the book that cannot be improved . We tried obtaining one locally at antique shops with no luck. I bought one from Amazon online and its the same edition. The copy is not perfect but very usable and she will get years of use from it and it will then be passed on to one of our children. I use Amazon several times a year to buy books and other items and have never been disappointed.

My son wants MY book like this from 1965 (when we got married) but I won't give it up till I'm gone (LOL). Anyway, I tried another and it was the same year but didn't have the recipes he wants and wasn't the same as mine. This one has City Chicken, my coffee cake, baked beans and various other recipes I use regularly. It was in very good condition, with slightly browned pages. No problem - MINE is duct taped!!! I should keep this one but I like my old worn out. My son is a happy camper too.
Buy was good to work with. Moral of the story - make sure if you're getting this that you're getting the recipes you're looking for and if it's not the right one you can return it, as I did the first one.
