Great 50's Era Decorating,

This is my favorite edition...lots of wonderful 50's modern furniture and lay-outs but also Early American and traditional designs from that era, too. Great fun to look at and to read...I love the little tv screens, dial telephones, and the "new" idea for a "family" room. I find the lay-outs and size of rooms and ideas far more relatable than current magazines and the popular H&G cable tv show. Beside the many color photo's, there are the famous cute and friendly informative illustrations that are missing from revamped and "updated" editions. The used copy that I just received has the expected paper "yellowing" from age but the pictures are still vibrant and the book pages themselves are still intact and all is in good condition.

I love this book! It gave me so many ideas for my 50s inspired house. It has decorating ideas for every room in the house and even floor layouts.
