I'm 28 now, I received this book when it was first published in 1989. The recipes are all very creative and easy for kids to use. Some recipes do call for the use of an oven and would require assistance by the parents but it is stocked with good ideas. I just purchased another copy for my niece for Christmas. I would highly recommend this to any parent.

The innovative recipes and clear illustrations make this a joy to teach cooking to my active grandson. His little sister is his happy taste-tester, and even his mother will happily provide a willing set of taste buds. My daughter says the kids are much more willing to explore new foods.
