It's a little smaller than I thought it would be but that's not a bad thing since our counterspace isn't very roomy, either. It's a nice rack ... =) Not big enough to hold big pots and pans but it's great for everyday dishes AND it looks stylish on the counter - not like the big plastic clunky thing it replaced. Drains well - lacquer is coming off but it still does the job.

I love the bamboo and the fact that this allows the water to drain. That is an awesome feature. I just wish the product could hold more dishes. Highly recommended for single person household. If you use a lot of dishes, the size could be very irritating.

Love it! I have limited counter space in my apartment and it's perfect for the minimalist wanting style. I was initially searching for a double decker dish drainer but this is more economical. Your plate that hangs over the edge will drop water on your counter but that doesn't bother me.
- small (perfect for one person) - stylish enough to leave on counter (i love looking at it) - drains well - stays put on counter (doesn't slide around) - well constructed - hooray, no plastic!

Sustainable bamboo, stainless steel, a compact, attractive design; it seemed perfect. Not so much. Not even a little. Within a couple of weeks, small wood pieces broke off the utensil container. Within a couple of months, the entire unit was growing black and green mold. Yuck. Disgusting. Despite my regular washing of the dish rack and the benefit of the warm dry summer air, the design seems optimized for trapping moisture. Do not buy this item.

Does the Job. Could be better.,

This product does the job but it could be better. The picture makes it appear the incline is sharper than it actually is. In order to get the water to run off I put a folded dish towel under its legs. Because of a lack of air flow mold builds up on the inside of the utensil holder and the underneath of the unit. I love that it is bamboo and metal, that it takes so little of my counter space, and looks unique but having to put towels under it and scrub mold from it distract from its simple beauty.

if you like little metal or wood brain twister puzzles, rubik's cube, tetris, etc, this dish rack will put some play back into the chore! maximizing the amount of dishes held is a fun challenge-if you look at it that way, if you dont, it will be the bane of your dishwashing experience. it takes up minimal space if you have a tiny kitchen (the reason i bought it!), stores/hangs on the wall like kitchen art between uses, and - cause of the fun aspect - keeps me excited about washing dishes. how am i going to arrange them this time!? angles, positioning, sequencing- good times. It can handle large casserole dishes, slow cooker crocks and pans. i would say it encourages (demands) efficiency. fun, cute and functional! when it dies, i'll be disappointed, depending on the reason-i might look for something else, and look back with fondness at the times me and my dish rack had.

Title pretty much says it all. I think the picture is showing salad plates, unless your fork is bigger than you dinner plate.

I have been on a ridiculous quest for a good dish drainer over the past year. We had the same one for 10+ years and when it started to rust and crumble, I never thought that replacing it would be such an extreme hassle. I have purchased at least three since I discarded our old one, all of which have broken within a few months of use. Granted, we do not have a dishwasher, so our drainer gets heavy usage, but they are MEANT to hold dishes. I don't believe they should just disintegrate when confronted with a pot or two. Anyway, I bought this one. Better Housewares DrainFOREST Bamboo Dish Rack/Drainer It is very attractive and seems to be well constructed. The main issue is that is is only about 5 inches wide. So it only holds a very minimal number of dishes. Also, the little things that hold the dishes could be a little longer so they hold things more securely. It hasn't happened yet, but I know that plates are going to break by tipping over in it.
All of the shipping materials accidentally got discarded, so I couldn't return it. And I was a little scared to try another dish drainer and have it fall apart. So the solution that I came up with was to buy another one and use the two of them side by side as if they are one big one. I think the company should make one that is twice as wide. It would be a lot more functional.

This dish rack works perfectly for a small kitchen. I put mine on the sink next to the tap - it was the only one that fitted because it has a narrow, but long footprint. The construction is sturdy, and it holds several plates, glasses and containers. I love the materials - wood and metal look so much better than plastic. It is worth to pay a little more for this product.

This is a great looking dish drainer but doesn't hold nearly enough, even for one person. It was too small for me.
