I saw Trife live last night with Streetlife, Ghostface, Redman and Method man and they gave the crowd a classic performance I never saw such a dope show in my life and Ive been to a million concerts I had to go and buy this cd today and It's nuthing less than a classic debut album and if you ever get a chance to see any of these guys live go.

Classic solo debut from Trife da God,
By
This review is from: Better Late Then Never (Audio CD)
It's been about 8 years since we first heard Trife on some tracks with Ghostface, since then he has been part of the Theodore Unit album and put out a very good collabo album with Ghostface a few years back. The album title is fitting as finally the very skilled and talented rapper drops his solo debut album, and it's a classic and probably be a top 5 album of 2009. With 16 songs, you get 3 almost calssic tracks and the other 13 are good, mostly very good songs. Guests ar eon 10 songs, rapping on about half and are most of his Theodore Unit counterparts with a few other good MC's on here as well. His lyrics and delivery are on point and he has some songs with nice storylines, some deeper ones, and some street tales and songs as well. Production is also very well handled. Blunt does 5 songs, DJ Snips does 2, Lee Bannon, Bean One, DJ Snips, Neenyo, Mental Instruments, Quincey Tones, Animal House, Milkcrate Fam, Noize Therapy, Lewis Parker all do 1 song. A must have album from one of the better lesser-known rappers out.
