A very good, non-cheesy, trance artist's album !! This is so rare nowadays ! If we have a look at the most recent artist's albums of some of the top DJs there is so much commercial cheesy pop in there that if it were not for Christopher Lawrence, Tristan, and some Ferry Corsten tracks, I would just stop buying new trance. So, that being said, this CD was a very positive surprise for me and I certainly liked it and would recommend it to all trance fans. The tracks are not drive, electro, or fast progressive (like C.L. or Ferry Corsten) but they are also not some nostalgic vocal pop-like trance (like PVD In Between) and the sound is genuine and upbeat. Go get it and have some variety in your trance collection apart from the mainstream annual trance releases.

I first fell in love with Lange's DJ'ing with Global Phases. That album, if you've not listened, is pinnacle of motivational and uplifting Trance. Following this, I looked into other albums and tried this one.

The artist CD (disk 1) is pretty varied in composure and mood. Some songs swing, others move calmly in the wind, and unfortunately, one thrashes coarsely against the chalkboard. Please understand when I say I love when artists try to step outside their bounds (I do the same and don't blame anyone for trying) or create the unusual; some of the best things have come from such endeavors. I really am lost with the direction and purpose of a track that will make you cringe, however. Aside from "Dial Me Up", most of disk 1 is a good mixture of easy listening, involved dance beats, powerful vocals and elevating strings. Additionally, I absolutely enjoyed the first and last tracks.

The history CD (disk 2) is more what I was after when I previewed all of the songs before purchasing. I was very pleased to find another set of excellent Trance to add to my collection.

Keep the mystical and enchanting sounds coming, Lange!

Lange is quite an amazing artist... i discovered his music on tiesto's podcast.. this album is some really good dance music.. worth a buy..

Not anything like Lange's Global Phases cd.. I didn't like this cd and i am sorry to say that i don't recommend it.. i really enjoyed about 30% of this cd .. many wasted tracks with emphasis on vocals and not trancy like tunes... i am really getting annoyed with the cd's that are being produced that have many tracks taken up with vocals dominating the track .. i like music that makes me feel like am at a live party not the type that makes my think of relationships,, loves and all of that.. many of us long term trance fans are into nostalic like feelings that come with the mood of the live set performance.. and many cd's along with this one seem to be very far from that state of mind... sorry lange.. but i enjoyed you global phases cd that i picked up some three or four years ago.... I do not recommend this cd.... Trancemaster series never has this problem of 50% of tracks being taking over my dominating vocals... that is all. But lange is one of the best and one cd surely doesn't account for but 2% of my overall opinion of this man.. Thank You.
