I have purchased this product. It has one major flaw for a pillow. It smells like a tank of gasoline and even after a month of airing the pillow the smell does not go away. It is impossible to sleep in the same room as the pillow, much less with your nose right next to it. It has also few minor problems like it is shaped for women with thin long arms, otherwise you cannot fit them into the holes. But it is also too high, so women would probably break their neck trying to sleep on this pillow and too firm to adjust. I really tried hard to find a comfortable position to sleep on this pillow, but I found none. (I'm about 5"11" and 190 pound male.) Also the company claims they will not refund this item if you return it later than 14 days after purchase, but when I did, I got my full purchase price refunded by Amazon.

To sum it up, I could not imagine how to design a pillow that would be any worse fit for sleeping on, unless you just cut out a piece of asphalt road and put a cussion on it.

Also, be aware that most of the reviews on the internet are actually advertising sites put up by the company trying to sell this pillow and are fake, which I didn't realize until I bought it.

The chemical smell hit me in the face when I opened the package. I let the pillow air out for a week before using it, but the smell was still strong. So I covered the pillow with a pillowcase, then put another thin pillow over it, but woke up a few hours later with a headache because of the awful odor. The shape of the pillow does not allow the arm or hand under the edge or middle as advertised because the channels are too small.

This pillow is too hard and too high if you sleep flat on your stomach like I do. It's great for side sleepers who like to extend their arms over their head. It does have an industrial (fuel like) odor and the velour cover gets very hot against your skin. BUT, on the possitive side, the company has wonderful customer service with very quick shipping. I had to return mine and I received a full refund minus the shipping back which was over $9 since the pillow weighs more then 2.5 pounds.

Since I started using this pillow I rarely get any dead arm. I used to sometimes wake up with my arm and hand all numb. I rarely do now.

If you're a full grown man, or your arms are greater than 6" in circumference--this is not the pillow for you. I'm sure it will work as intended for small children, but not for an adult.

One night on this pillow and have a really bad pain in my neck/shoulder, guess I'll have to eat the $120 bucks I wasted on this ripoff pillow since the company (AB Marketing) no longer offers refunds for any pillows

I don't usually write reviews, but this pillow has been amazing for me. I no longer wake up with this serious neck pain that I used to have from almost every other pillow. It took a while to get used to - maybe two weeks - but now I can't sleep well without it.

I did not have the industrial fuel smell issue, but I did end up putting my own pillow case on it.

It might not be for everybody - I am a side-sleeper (slept on arm) who had terrible neck cramps in the morning and this pillow has done wonders.

I purchased the better sleep pillow back in November from the company because I was looking for a pillow that would help me sleep better. This pillow was not the one. In fact I slept worse. For one thing the pillow is too hard and high. You wake up with neck pains. I thought there was something wrong with me, so I had my children try out the pillow. They even said it was the worst pillow to sleep on. It shouild be taken out of the market if you ask my opinion. I don't know who would benifit from this pillow, but It wasn't my family. I can't even get my money back because it was over the 30 days. I waited because I wanted to give the pillow a chance to work, but my sleep got worse. I hope this review is helpful for people who are trying to find a pillow that will help them sleep better. Go to Mypillow.com. It might be a better alternative.

I picked up one of these pillows on a reccomendation after I'd been suffering a neck injury, and finding that a cervical-style pillow made it feel worse. I'm a reasonably big guy (6', 200lbs), and I've found the Better Sleep Pillow to be about the right size for my big ol' head. I don't really use the center channel for the arm, but I do find that while sleeping on my side, the front recess makes my shoulder much more comfortable. This is also my first memory foam pillow, and having used it, I'm not sure I could go back. The firmness is right where I like it to be, and the with is more than enough for me to roll around, and still be comfortable.

I've just read a few reviews here, and I can say that my pillow did have a somewhat strong smell when I first got it. I guess I'm the only one who had a bottle of Fabreze handy, because the smell went away after one good spraying. I could see this being a bit large for a very small woman, but the curvature of the pillow fit my head (and my 5' 7" girlfriend) just fine. I might actually get another one for her!

I honestly don't get the negative reviews here. This pillow has been a godsend for me. I'm the worst when it comes to tossing and turning and I need the absolute perfect combination of darkness, cool temperature and white noise along with the perfect angle and firmness of a pillow to sleep. This pillow assures that angle and firmness! 99% of all normal store-bought pillows are worthless half-empty sacks of stuffing or feathers where you'd be better off sleeping on an empty mattress for all the support you get. With this pillow I sleep soundly through the night and I can actually remember my dreams! I almost cried when I remembered my first dream in almost a decade because of this pillow - no joke! There is nothing in the world I would trade for the quality sleep I now get. I bought my first Better Sleep pillow about 5 or 6 years ago and through nightly use it split and wore out and I had to buy a new one about a year ago and I haven't missed a wink! It's well worth the $100 you pay - and the odor goes away within a week of using it - it's not very strong to begin with unless you're one of the classic hypochondriac "chemicals and fragrances, toxins and radio waves!" nutjobs.
