beware of busy restaurants,

I hear this CD in a busy Italian Restaurant in Edinburgh but when I received my copy it did not stand up to closed listening. Moon has a pleasant voice and makes a decent fist of some standard tunes however the challenges posed by articulating certain English words and phrases become quickly apparent and people I play it to tend to notice this and laugh. This is a shame and I get the impression that Moon has learned some of the material phonetically - for the next album I would suggest that Moon takes a little time with an English speaking voice coach. The raw material is there it just needs polishing for the English speaking markets.

her voice reminds me much of stacey kent. chirpy but airier. along with a great arrangement, i bought this long ago & i still listen to it now. definitely a great buy.
