Mongrel are a supergroup formed in 2008, with a dream team line up featuring Jon McClure & Joe Moskow (Reverend and the Makers), Matt Helders (Arctic Monkeys), Andy Nicholson (Ex Arctic Monkeys), Drew McConnell (Babyshambles) and UK Hip Hop artist Lowkey. The debut album is produced by Adrian Sherwood. The content of their music is quite political, with the majority of their songs having lyrcs which challenege government issues.
