i was first intro'd to this book in seminary. our dean would read one of Ohler's prayers before class. i have recommended this small book to many. his prayers are best read slowly and meditatively beacuse they are so visually rich. we have used them often in our emergent community."help us not only to be caught by the exceptional but to be stunned by the ordinary to marvel at what we call 'common'- sparrow the people sense touch and all the small and daily blessings." from Life is God-Sized "excessive generous lavish God... why do you waste so much time on us?" from Extravagant God |
