This is a very nice mozart cd. It contains many of mozart's finest pieces played by many distinguished orchestras. It has a funny album cover and the title is kinda cheesy. But it is true, people do think better when listening to mozart. Like it says on the cover: "scientifically proven to increase your brain power!!!". Don't underestimate this, i frequently put on this cd while studying, and i find it helps a great deal with concentration and being able to focus on the task at hand. His music is just so soothing and wonderful. I received this as a gift and was kinda turned off by the look / design of the cd. But i soon realized that despite the hideous graphic design, this really is a very nice mozart compilation. And it really does increase your brainpower (don't expect it to turn you into something you're not, like einstein). But this cd certainly does help me with my studying, and i have noticed better grades on tests and papers with mozart's help. Take it for what it's worth, but i would recommend this to anyone who likes music that soothes and stimulates your brain. So turn off all the pop / rock / hip hop [...] for now, and try some 'thinking music'.

Agree with "Hydropolis". Beside the effect of 'enhancement of brain power (though not works much to me)', this cd has another (real) merit: The chance to hear the wonderful performances by such great past figures as Anda, de Larrocha and especially, The Iturbis. I am happy to be with these true Mozarteans.
