Bob Moeller has done an outstanding job of taking Old Testament events and applying them to challenges in the modern day Christian marriage. His ongoing story of the relationship between a tribal leader and his two wives ( yes, two wives!!!) makes for an intresting read. It was difficult to put this book down. There were so many Biblical stories and plots all affecting the marriage and the children of this marriage. Anyone who reads this book will get a multitude of practical tips and guidelines for making the worst marriage work for the better. This book should be on the shelf of every pastor, Biblical counselor and Christian couple who want to see marriages stay "for better, for worse and for keeps"!

This book is biblical, practical and full of hope. It is winsome and readable. A good study for engaged couples or those who want to stay fresh in their love. As a Pastor, I am glad to have use of such a good tool.
