FANTASTIC!,
By
This review is from: Tres Tria Co-sleeping Solution (Baby Product)
The Tres Tria is a natural latex (natural latex regulates heat well, and so, you will not sweat!), half- cylinder bolster that slips underneath the fitted sheet on your bed. Nothing else is needed to hold it in place. It prevents children from rolling off the bed for sure and in a much softer way than a rail would, but can also be used as a nursing positioner, a pregnancy pillow, a barrier between two sleeping children, a toddler bed rail, or a reading pillow. The uses are really endless!! What's really wonderful about it is that it can grow and change with your child.
It requires no assembly and is wonderfully portable. We have taken ours all over the world; it has created co-sleeping situations in many hotels and family members' homes. Since it is a mere 36" in length and also flexible, it can fit in your suitcase. We previously used bed rails to keep our children in the family bed at night. Let's just say it wasn't very comfortable for them. We were hesitant to purchase a co-sleeping device. We didn't like the co-sleeping bassinet and feared that it would become a glorified, bedside, storage bin! Another co-sleeping device featured a full cylinder velcro-ed to a bed pad; we didn't feel that would stand up to our boys' constant rolling around and the price point was just too high. The Tres Tria satisfied all of our needs and we have been truly happy with it. I must say, it's simplicity is so remarkable. You receive it in the mail and you think, hmmmm, what could it possibly do?! And then, ... it works absolutely perfectly!! You will absolutely not be disappointed if you purchase one.

I love my Tres Tria,

This is my new favorite discovery! My bed side co-sleeper wasn't doing the job, and the tres tria has been my solution.I could not nurse my son while he was in the first co-sleeper so he would end up on the bed by the first awakening. With the Tres Tria, he starts out on the bed and I can actually co-sleep with a little one while my husband sleeps soundly. My son loves to cuddle up right against me, and instead of ending up on the edge of the bed, I have a wonderful body pillow so I don't have the feeling I'm about to fall off, and now that I'm pregnant again, I know I'm going to enjoy not having to stuff pillows between my knees. The Tres Tria is very easy to carry along (and can be used for traveling pillow or put under the knees for back relief!). I love that it is organic, one less thing to worry about. The simplicity and versitility make this product great to any family considering or practicing co-sleeping, and now that we have another baby on the way, I can put the Tres Tria between them during nap time. Also, it makes a great, organic toddler bed rail! I highly recommend the Tres Tria, it is a staple in my home.

This bumper works great. Soft and sturdy. Keeps baby safely on bed. And it is nice to lean up against too.

I bought one of these when my first daughter was about 6 months old and I am using it with my 2nd daughter now trying to get my money's worth out of it!
The tres tria is very wide (about 10" wide) - good for if you are sleeping in a full/queen by yourself and baby. I thought I would put it on one edge of my queen sized bed and be able to still have room to sleep comfortably in between my husband and baby, but I was wrong; there's barely enough room for us all. I ended up making our crib into a sidecar on one side of the bed and not using the tres tria much. I use this pillow when we travel to see family and friends and I'm in the bed alone with the baby; It's very bulky though. It is a nice concept, but it is just too wide and bulky and expensive!! Although it has been helpful at times, I still wish I would have saved my $129.

Essential if Breastfeeding at Night & Co-sleeping,

This review is from: Tres Tria Co-sleeping Solution (Baby Product)
I bought a really expensive co-sleeper that kept my newborn daughter close to me, but after a week I found it awkward lifting her up and over the little rail to the bed so she could feed at night. It was also difficult traveling with the co-sleeper -- just too big and fiddly. The Tres Tria was my answer. It was great while visiting relatives and in hotels and gave me real peace of mind knowing that my daughter wouldn't fall out of bed. It *was* bulky and heavy though. Yes, you can fit it into a large suitcase but it will take up half of it and, at 9 lbs, it wasn't light, but it was still worth lugging it around. I did love using it at home too. I did occasionally find it a little tight in our queen-sized bed with me, husband, baby and Tres Tria, but most of the time it worked great. I'm now saving it for when my daughter will need a 'bed rail' in a toddler bed. The box says you can use it as a kind of neck bolster for reading after the kids are done using it -- I personally don't see doing this, but otherwise I'd say the product claims are spot on and would recommend it to a new mother who planned to nurse at night, especially instead of an expensive co-sleeper bed.

Quality Product Good Customer Service,

Received this item from our registry!
It is pricey but it saved us. We were using "The First Years Close & Secure Sleeper" which destroyed our mattress as we slept on either side of it and ended up with a ridge in the middle. This pillow was a much better solution, it takes up far less space but is raised and firm enough to help keep baby in bed prior to crawling. It is also great as a barrier/reminder for those nervous about sleeping with the little one. It is also very comfortable for general use. The fact that it is made of natural materials is also reassuring. The outer cover of our pillow ripped on first wash. I had to contact the company and they very promptly replaced the cover and sent an e-mail apologizing and reassuring me that they produce a quality product. I love good customer service, it is almost s important as a quality product! P.S. The instructions that come with the pillow are mildly amusing, though I am not sure if that is intentional!

Well worth every penny and baby's not even here yet.
If you plan to co-sleep full time or just here and there- buy this product! It's been great for my late term pregnancy and we look forward to using it once baby comes. I climb over it countless times at night to pee and it always stays put. Many of my friends practice co-sleeping and use mounds of pillows to prevent baby from rolling away- I've already converted 2 of them to the smarter, safer and space-saving Tres Tria. On a side note: I have a latex allergy and was worried about the natural latex used in the product but am happy to report I've have had no problems snuggling up to it every night.

A great Co-Sleeping Tool,
This review is from: Tres Tria Co-sleeping Solution (Baby Product)
We have been using this product now for just over 4 months. It is so wonderful to know your baby won't roll off the edge of the bed. Even now that our LO is starting to move around, he is still safe in the bed with us. I highly recommend this product to anyone considering co-sleeping.

This item works great, just make sure you follow the instructions and place it under you fitted sheet so the baby doesn't go off the bed with the pillow. The customer service from this company was outstanding. I wish it weren't quite so expensive - but there is nothing like it on the market. I'm happy I bought it.

We bought the Tres Tria Co-Sleeping Solution because 3-4 nights a week I work a 12.5 hour overnight shift and our 8 month old son will not sleep in a crib. On nights I am home he sleeps snuggled up with me and he had a co-sleeper crib attached to the bed for nights alone with my husband. A few weeks ago he outgrew it and I was so stressed as to what to do. I looked up "co-sleeping" on Amazon and found the Tres Tria Co-sleeping Solution. During the day I use it as a bumper on the edge of the bed incase the baby rolls when we sleep. On the nights I am at work we push the bed against the wall and fill the crack with a folded towel. On the foot of the bed we stack my pillows to be used as a bumper. The Tres Tria goes in the middle of the bed and my husband sleeps on the other side. Perfect solution! Now the baby can sleep in our bed without me, as safe as if he were in a crib. I don't have to spend all night at work worried that my husband rolled over on him or accidently has an arm draped over the baby's airway. It is made of soft material but is sturdy enough that my husband wouldn't roll over it during the night.
update to orignal post about price: I had an issue with the price because I saw it cheaper somewhere else when this is a Better For Babies exclusive product. Better For Babies contacted me immediately with an explanation. You can't find organic baby products at decent prices with customer service like this anywhere else. |
